SYDNEY, Monday 20 July 2026. Mamamia, Australia's largest independent digital media company, today announced the appointment of Luca Lavigne as CEO. Outgoing CEO Nat Harvey will remain with the business for several weeks to ensure a smooth transition of executive responsibilities, following her decision to accept an external role.

Luca Lavigne will support the Mamamia leadership team and continue delivering on the vision and strategy for the business they have developed together.

Luca Lavigne said: "On behalf of the entire company, I wholeheartedly thank Nat for her outstanding leadership through a period of great opportunity and momentous change for the industry. Her leadership is defined by expertise, passion and dedication. This is a better business today because of her, and Nat will always have our friendship and our gratitude for everything she's done during her time with Mamamia."

Lavigne steps into the CEO role after two years as Mamamia's Chief Operating Officer and Chief Product Officer, and more than ten years working across every aspect of the business. Over the past four years, Lavigne has led the shift within Mamamia to a dual advertising and subscriber model, including expansion of the business beyond media offerings. He has also driven the scaling of Mamamia's podcast network and its recent evolution into video-first.

Reflecting on her tenure, Nat Harvey said: "The decision to leave Mamamia was an incredibly tough one. I've adored my time here but an opportunity came up that I just could not walk away from."

"I've worked closely with Luca since the day I started here and watched him lead the biggest transformations in this business from the inside. He is deeply experienced in this business and knows what Mamamia needs to thrive through the challenges facing the media sector."

Nat Harvey will be departing Mamamia in early September. Harvey and Lavigne will together be spending time with industry partners over the coming weeks.

The CEO transition follows three senior commercial appointments made earlier in July 2026. Lanai Wiadrowski has assumed national responsibility for all commercial advertising and partnership revenue. Danni Wright, formerly National Strategy Director, now leads commercial strategy and long-term client partnerships. Michila Macleod has expanded her remit from Victorian Agency operations to provide senior leadership across the South Australia and West Australia markets.

In addition, Lavigne announced Zara Curtis will be stepping from content into the Chief Marketing Officer role and Ruth Devine will be joining the leadership team as Content Director.
